"North Has 4 Years To Rule After Buhari"- AYCF

The Arewa Youth Consultative Forum on Thursday declared that the North still has four years to rule Nigeria, after the tenure of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The AYCF National President, Yerima Shettima made the declaration while faulting the Southern governors' call for a rotational presidency to the South in 2023.
In an interview with Daily Post, Shettima insisted that former Presidents, Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan ruled Nigeria for 14 years in favour of the South, while the late Musa Yar’Adua and Buhari would have ruled for 10 years in 2023.
EFCC Warns Hotels Over Yahoo Boys

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has warned that hoteliers who allow Yahoo Boys to check into their facilities risk being prosecuted and jailed.
In a statement on its official Facebook page, the anti-graft agency said hoteliers could bag a five-year jail term for allowing cybercriminals access to lodging in their hotels.
The warning came after Peoples Gazette’s report exposed how the anti-graft agency violently seized a Lagos hotel access card and broke into guests’ rooms in an overnight raid.
Senate Confirms Another INEC National Commissioner

The Senate, on Thursday, confirmed the appointment of Professor Sani Muhammed Adam from North Central as a National Commissioner of Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC).
His conformation followed the consideration of the report of the Committee on INEC.
The Senate had, on Tuesday, stepped down the confirmation of Prof Adam on the ground that it has not cleared the nominee of petition surrounding his nomination.

The House of Representatives adopted pay-as-you-go and a price slash for DSTV and other cable satellite operators in the country.
The House considered and approved recommendations of the Ad–hoc Committee on Non–Implementation of Pay–As–You–Go and sudden Increment of Tariffs plan by Broadcast Digital Satellite Service Providers.
The Chairman of the Committee and member representing Ukanafun/Oruk Anam Federal Constituency, Rep Unyime Idem, had earlier laid the report before the House and was considered during Wednesday’s Plenary in Abuja.
Scores killed as troops dislodge bandits planning attacks

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji have dislodged bandits who converged on Sububu forest ahead of planned attacks of Zamfara communities.
A large number of the bandits were killed in the operation, the Nigerian military has disclosed.
The swift operation was sequel to credible information on the convergence of the criminals, Brigadier General Benard Onyeuko, Acting Director, Defence Media Operations, stated.
