N’Golo Kanté Delivered Verdict On His Chelsea Future Amid Interest from PSG

 

N’Golo Kante has suggested that he is eyeing an extended stay at Stamford Bridge beyond the end of his current contract aim interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

Earlier of two week ago El Sol , reports that Paris Saint-Germain have set their sights on Blues star, as Mauricio Pochettino eyes up midfield reinforcements in the summer.

Kante, 30, who has gone strength to strength since his arrival at Stamford Bridge has firmly established himself as one of the best central midfielders in the world, amassing 218 competitive appearances for the Blues.

The energetic operator, played a key role in Chelsea’s success of Uefa Champions League trophy – delivered standout performances against Real Madrid over the two legs before dominated middle of park that helped the Blues to secured victory over Manchester City last month.


His excellent performances since arrived of Thomas Tuchel, attracted interest from PSG boss Mauricio Pochettino, who is keen on using the club’s financial powers to significantly strengthen his team’s ranks, following a disastrous 2020/21 campaign.

The former Spur boss has been identified the Blues star as the desired target, however, Kante, who is current in national duty with France ahead of Euro 2020, revealed that he harbours no aspirations on leaving west London club any time soon.


The Frenchman, who has two years left on his current contract at the club, taking in a press conference with national side France, he said: ‘I have been at Chelsea for 5 years, I have enjoyed wonderful seasons. I hope to experience many others.

‘It is not something that I am focusing on. I have another two years of contract with Chelsea and I feel good.’

Kante has made 218 appearances for the Blues since arriving from Leicester City in 2016, winning the Champions League, Europa League, Premier League and FA Cup during his time at the club.
