  A group of thirty-one lawyers from Northern Nigeria have volunteered to render free legal services to suspended super cop, Abba Kyari, who has been indicted in the Hushpuppi fraud case. A report by the Federal Bureau of Investigation FBI in the US alleged that Abba Kyari collected about N8 million from Hushpuppi to help effect the arrest and detention of his rival, Chibuzo Kelly Vincent, following a disagreement from a fraud deal they embarked upon.  Salisu said the lawyers volunteered to render free legal services for the preservation of Kyari’s fundamental rights that might be potentially jeopardized by his alleged indictment by a court in the United States of America.   ‘Hushpuppi’ Operation That Indicted DCP Abba Kyari. A photo combination of a deputy commissioner of police, Abba Kyari and alleged fraudster, Ramon Abbas, aka, Hushpuppi.   In October 2019, a businessperson started looking for an investor who could provide a $15 million loan to build an international school in Qatar. By November, the businessperson was on a plane to Kenya, to meet a potential facilitator – Abdulrahman Juma, a 28-year-old parading as the ‘Chairman’ and ‘Funding Officer’ of Westload Financial Solutions Limited. Juma was able to convince the businessperson to sign a contract that mandated the payment of a $225,000 consultancy fee before the loan could be disbursed. Of course, there was no loan. But the businessperson didn’t know that at the time. After the businessperson wired a first tranche of $164,450, Juma provided a forged document showing a wire transfer of $15 million from a Barclays Bank account in the United Kingdom to the businessperson’s bank account...

  Troops of Operation Lafiya Dole currently carrying out Operation Tura Takaibango stationed at Dikwa and Gulumba Gana supported by the Air Component inflicted heavy casualty on Boko Haram Terrorists who attempted to take control of the strategic town of Dikwa, the headquarters of Dikwa LGA of Borno State.  Remember   that the  terrorists  in their number attacked the town with 12 gun trucks  on the eve of Sunday 18 April 2021, just as the locals prepare to break their Ramadan fast for the day. The troops having contained the initial wave of the attack had to occupy their alternative Headquarters at Gulumba Gana to enable the Air Component engage any gun trucks and other technicals in the vicinity of the attack to prevent fratricide.  Kyari is involving in  investigation  for alleged $1.1m Internet fraud . The Nigeria police commission  noted that Kyari might face dismissal or demotion, and criminal prosecution if found culpable in the fraud allegedly perpetrated by an Instagram influencer and suspected fraudster, Ramon Abass, popularly known as Hushpuppi. A Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal complaint lodged at the United States District Court in California had listed Hushpuppi and Kyari among six suspects indicted in the international fraud conspiracy.
